Zoi Sent Packing on 'Top Chef'

Last night's episode of "Top Chef Chicago" was the first this season with major drama. It all started when the chefs were split into four teams (corresponding to air, earth, fire, water). The "fire" team of Lisa, Dale and Stephanie. The team ended up winning but not before Dale and Lisa majorly argued over how "fire" should be interpreted. The ending was a happy one, with their spicy shrimp taking first prize and Lisa winning individual honors.

The losing team of Zoi, Spike and Antonia (who had immunity after winning the quickfire challenge for her near-perfect palate) argued over whether to serve squash soup or a raw beef dish (I still don't understand the appeal of that one) and chose the latter. Zoi was held responsible for unseasoned mushrooms and packed her knives.

After the eviction, all hell broke loose when Spike rubbed it in that the judges thought making the soup would have been great and Jennifer (a.k.a. Zoi's girlfriend) ripped Spike a new one for his insensitivity. Meanwhile, Dale let Lisa have it over her constant negative complaining.
