Mike Green Meets the Media
After spending time on a media conference call, Mike Green called in to NHL Live on XM Radio and NHL Network. He said the deal was done in the last few days and that, not surprisingly, he didn't want to leave the Caps and Coach Bruce Boudreau.
Green also said that he didn't want to leave the "great players and great guys" that the Caps have and that he didn't have an update on Cristobal Huet and Brooks Laich -- who clearly took a backseat to the blueliner.
"I just kinda have a feeling that if it's gonna happen, he's going to take us there," Green said.
