O's Venture North

The O's (44-43) are battling suddenly-poor pitching just as their offense is excelling. Exhibit A is the team's 11-10 loss to the Texas Rangers on Sunday. Now the team heads to another house of horrors, the Rogers Centre in Toronto, to face the Blue Jays.

The O's did get some good news on Sunday, though, as George Sherrill was selected to the all-star team. Brian Roberts is a candidate for the AL's Final Vote.

The Jays (42-47) are having a poor season of their own, mired in last place while the Tampa Bay Rays (55-33) enjoy an amazing four-game lead in the AL East. The O's hope they can follow Tampa's turnaround path, but in the meantime, must find a way to stay above .500.
